Last week, Jack Robbins, the son of Susan Sarandon, posted a humorous video on Instagram that depicted his life with his mother.
In the social media video, Robbins, 34, is the main character, but in the second part, he makes fun of his mother, 77, and her notoriety as well as their relationship.
Sarandon made an appearance in Robbins’ comedy video, “Day in the Life of a Nepo Baby,” which went viral after the post on Wednesday.
Robbins gave a brief introduction before going over his morning routine, which includes stretching and meditation as well as other wellness practises. He performed the two exercises in front of a large portrait of his mother that was hanging over his bed. He told the audience, “Meditation is very important to me to start my day,” while checking his phone during the meditation.
Robbins went to the shower after that. He displayed some of his artwork in the shower there, including a picture of his father Tim Robbins in a well-known moment from The Shawshank Redemption.
Miles Robbins, 31, and Sarandon, 65, share a child, Jack. Sarandon’s 38-year-old daughter Eva Amurri is also shared by Franco Amurri, her ex-boyfriend.
When Robbins arrived at her flat halfway through the video, Sarandon made an appearance. Robbins recorded her response and focused on his mother’s agitated expression.
Robbins joked, “My mum gets really excited to see me.”
Then Robbins displayed his mother’s apartment along with a number of her honours.
“I’m incredibly appreciative of everything my mother, Susan Sarandon, teaches me about life and the film business,” Robbins remarked. “I also enjoy taking pictures of her with all of her accolades, achievements, and city keys.”
Robbins joked about their “usual” fights in the voice-over narration, having learned a few lessons from his mother. “After that, we usually argue about money and my inheritance,” he stated.
Robbins mockingly yells at Sarandon, “It’s not your f—— money!” during the scene showing the mother and son fighting. Now it’s my money!”
The video then cuts to Sarandon dozing off face down on her couch while Robbins narrates, “My mum usually takes a nap after that.”
But that’s not where his day ends. According to Robbins, following his mother’s nap, they engage in a unique ritual in which they hide in a pitch-black closet while Robbins wears a black velvet robe.
He continued, “After that, I put on my robe for my ceremony and try to draw out as much talent as I can from my mother’s soul.” “Mmm! It’s time to head to bed.
